Keilani-ism and Sadie Silly

So yesterday Keilani and Sadie were being rather difficult and disobedient during the going to bed ritual of prayers and scriptures. I got so frustrated and I started lecturing them about how important it is to do those things and have respect for Heavenly Father. I said at the end of my speech, "You girls are 5 and 3 years old and you know better than that!" Keilani slowly got a little smirk on her face and said, "I know everything!" Then as my eyes blazed at her, she paused and then said, "but I don't know anything big." I think she knew what I was going to say!

Sadie found a long screwdriver the other day and was playing with it. (This is not our fault, we don't usually allow our children to play with tools!) She told me that she needed it to kill someone. I said, "But, we don't kill people." She replied, "I'm not going to kill you mommy, I'm just going to kill daddy." Then I said, "We don't kill ANYBODY!" And she got a pouty face and said, "But I want to kill people." Sadie is such a sweet girl, but who knows where that came from? A previous post comes to mind when Sadie said that she needed a new mommy and daddy. I think it is all a plot to get rid of us.

I think for the sake of your and Jake's lives, we should hold off on the Sadie ninja training. It might backfire on everyone.

You were right Becky, maybe I should come around more often since your kids seem to somewhat behave when I'm there ;)
